Wild Heart Children’s Centre is a non-profit child care organization immersed in the wonders of childhood. It all began nearly five decades ago with a group of mothers searching for that famous village. Over the years—thanks to parents and other caregivers who believe in building true community—we have evolved into the Wild Heart Children’s Centre.
Leadership is intentional and collaborative at the centre, we live authentically in ourselves, and we believe differences are chances to grow. We model and encourage these behaviours for the children in our care. We have the audacity to imagine the world as a better place, so we give freely of ourselves, without expecting anything in return.
For us, naturally, children are the heart of it all. Each child is already perfect, whole and complete; their world is a place of unlimited possibility. We honour that by creating rich and responsive learning environments where their imaginations can run wild. We encourage their keen curiosity to explore. And we understand that every child must feel loved and accepted for who they are.
